In my Design Presentation class, I had to select a piece of work from a new artist every two weeks, do a sketch, redraw the work, mix the colors, and use techniques and skills to best recreate the piece to match the original.
The larger image is my replication and the original work is located in the bottom right corner of each image above. The pieces are in order as follows: Edward Hopper's Sunlight on Brownstones, Shaun Tan's piece from this book "The Red Tree", Berthe Morisot's "Grain Field", William Turner's "Dover", Romare Bearden's "Tomorrow I Will Be Far Away", and the last piece was a watercolor of an origami which was a painting white on white exercise.
