Assistant Architectural Designer

Jenkins Project

Medford Lakes, NJ

2016

Working as an assistant on a home addition, allowed me to better understand architectural standards, basic layouts, and improve my drafting skills.

My job involved meeting with the client to discuss his thoughts and ideas, measuring the interior of the house and creating original draftings, designing the edition, creating a drafting package, and getting it approved by not only my client but the township.  Because the home was built in a historic district, there were requirements involving size and distance to the lake behind the property.

The architectural draftings were approved by the client and the township.

The photographs to the left show the house prior to the addition and the draftings above were apart of the final draftings presented.
